Update on Jeff Davis 12-9-12

Hi Fran,

I wanted to give an update on my husband, Jeff Davis, as some people have been asking.  After 4 weeks in the hospital with 3 surgeries, Jeff finally came home last week. He has been through a lot, having kidney stone, gall bladder, hernia and abdominal adhesions removed as well as part of his intestines.  He is very weak from surgeries but progressing slowly, still requiring some home care.

We hope to be back in church by Christmas and that he will be able to join back in with the Praise Team sometime after the first of the year.

We would like to thank everyone who has been praying for us!

Mary Lee Utz 12-9-12

Dear Prayer warriors:
Many of you have been asking about Mary Lee Utz.  Well, I just got a call from her and have her address in Minnesota.  She is recovering from successful cancer surgery and will probably be there through Christmas.  She’d love to hear from some of her friends.  Perhaps a Christmas card or letter.

Her address is:
Mary Lee Utz
Kahler Grand Hotel
20 Second Ave.S.W.
Room #807
Rochester, Minnesota 55902

In His service,
Fran

Virginia Bailey’s daughter, Bob Rowe’s niece

Dear prayer warriors:

  1. Please pray for the daughter of Virginia Bailey, Elizabeth (Liz), who will be having spinal surgery on Thursday, December 13th.
  2. Please pray for the niece of Bob Rowe, Jill Rowe, in her early 30s with cervical cancer.  She’ll have a hysterectomy on the 14th.

Paul was resting comfortably this afternoon and we watched some of the Buc’s game before he went to sleep.  Don’t know if he was awake for the shocking final score.

Thanks for being so diligent in prayer.  God bless you.
In His service,
Fran

Update 11/09/12

dear prayer warriors:

Good news about Alta Nardi.  The MRI indicated that what had been thought was a tumor was fatty tissue or muscle fat.  Difference in the opinion of doctors.  Praise God for that.

Had a great afternoon with Paul last afternoon and I’m headed back up to hear some music with him this morning and have lunch.  Hope your days go as well.

Thanks for your prayers.

In His service,

Fran
