My friend, Beverly Strothers, from our Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, passed away a few days ago.  She was an animal lover and had 3 cats (each 10 years old) and a chihuahua (8 years old) who need a loving “indoor” home.  Her sister, Carol, will take each one that you would like to adopt to the veterinarian for any shots and a check-up.  Please contact me if you or a friend may be interested.  They are beautiful animals and need a new home.

Just received word that Bill Humphries fell yesterday while blowing leaves off the roof of the shed at the river.  He has a broken bone in his ankle and is going to Columbia, S.C. today to have a cast put on.  Sandy said they are just glad it was not worse.  So am I.

Update on Paul and the outbreak at Baldomero Lopez Nursing Home

 Paul was better today, but still weak and in bed.  They’re trying to prevent dehydration and he ate his breakfast and lunch today.  They’re giving him lots of fluid.
He felt like sleeping so I left about 1 p.m.
The nurse in the Delta Unit where Paul is said they are trying to quarantine that section to prevent spreading.  I think for the others in Alpha, bingo was going to begin again today, so that is a positive sign.

Good Afternoon Fran –

TJ came out of surgery ok yesterday.  They found more tumors than they realized so prompt healing and starting chemo is top of the list of things to do.  Please continue to pray for TJ for no complications during this time of healing.  He is in good spirits and very thankful for everyone’s prayers.
