Just wanted to add our daughter Nicole to the prayer list. She is having surgery Tuesday morning to remove a lump from her neck. After the surgery they will send it to Tampa for a biopsy. We are sure all will be fine.

Good Monday morning,
A new day, a new month, and for many just an ordinary day. But I’ve come to believe that there are no “ordinary” days. Each day is a new opportunity given to us by God. And we so often take that for granted. But each day is a gift from God.
While this day is a gift it is different from other gifts. God gives it and He opens it for us. The sun will shine, the time will pass, whether we like it or not. But what we do with the time allotted us is a choice we make. We’ll never have this day again. What will we choose to do with it?
But I will stand with Joshua in Joshua 24:15…”Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…….But as for me and my house we’ll serve the Lord.”
Father, help us to be able to say with all earnestness: “This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24). In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pray for the daughter of John Dettori’s friend’s daughter in Seattle who is very ill.

I talked to Paulette McLain this morning and she is still recuperating from her surgery. If you would like to send her a card, her address is: 1902 N. MacDill Ave #925, Tampa, 33614.
My cousin’s son, Michael, had surgery last night on the collar bone. They had to administer the anesthetic over a 4 hour period because of his head wound.
Just had a call from Paul that they are taking him to the hospital.
