Become A Memeber

How To Become A Member Of Wesley Memorial UMC

We encourage everyone who is interested in joining Wesley Memorial to attend our New Members Class.  These informal gatherings are held quarterly during the 10 AM Sunday School hour. These classes provide you with helpful information about the life and ministry of this Church. They also are a wonderful way to make new friends and get connected!

Methods of Joining

Methods of joining Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church

Profession of Faith - First time believers can publicly acknowledge their commitment to Christ and simultaneously join Wesley.   Baptism may also be conducted at this time.

Certificate of Transfer - Membership can be transferred from another United Methodist Church where an individual has previously been a member. This process is done through a written request.

Transfer from another Denomination - Membership may be transferred from a Church of another denomination to Wesley Memorial UMC via written request.

Reaffirmation of Faith/Restoration - If membership has been terminated through charge conference action, withdrawal, or if one has been inactive, they may renew his/her vows of membership and be restored to the life and ministry of the Church.

Baptism - Individuals may join the Church through baptism, proceeded by a profession of faith. Baptisms from other churches are recognized.  Baptismal covenants may also be renewed, if desired.

Please note that our tuitions are based on an annual amount and we conveniently divide them into 10 monthly payments.  The prices listed within reflect the monthly amount.  You may pay your tuition in full and receive a 5% discount.

 

Preschool

Children learn through play experiences which are developmentally appropriate to their age.  A variety of activities are provided to help children learn and explore.  Classrooms are set up in learning centers such as dramatic play, block area, art manipulative toys, quiet/book area and math and science center.  Outdoor play is a part of the day as well Learning experiences are further enhanced through music, exciting Chapel times, special programs and events.  Prayer and Bible stories are an integral par of each day.  Children experience these activities under the supervision of loving teachers in a Christian setting.



We are a State Funded VPK Provider  for eligible PreK4 children.  Parents must apply through the State.
Our Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

 

LUNCH BUNCH
Preschool 3 & 4 year olds may stay to have lunch with their friends.  Parents provide their child’s lunch.  Reservations required.  Space is limited.
Hours 12:00 - 3:30

POWER PALS
Available for PreK3 & PreK4 students from 7:00-9:00 a.m. and from 12:00-6:00 p.m. Space is limited.  Parents must provide their child’s lunch.  An afternoon snack is provided.  Parents should provide a blanket and pillow for napping.

Toddler Program

The Toddler program is designed to help children learn and explore through a variety of  developmentally appropriate activities.  Children experience music, stories, art, and free play under the supervision of loving teachers in a Christian setting.  A nutritious snack is served each day.
